c the girls took on a well established rothwell team on one of the hottest nights this year and was caught slightly in the limelight of their first fixture in the first ten mins finding themselves going down to 3 quick goals. The girls soon settled down to start playing some good football passing it around and working hard for each other.
Cas got a brilliant goal back from super work from martha bringing it to a 3-1 at half time. Ellie and Vicky was working very hard in defence with grace making some great stops in the second half. The second half was very well contested with plenty of opportunities for both teams. The home side was loosing energy as the heat was certainly playing a major factor.
excellent work from ashleigh and martha as well as wrae in midfield made sure rothewell could not swith off. Rothewell got another goal toward the end of the fixture to give a result of 1-4. All girls played extreamly well and was credited from the opposing manager. well done girls and keep going
